We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported NOVA West Island through fundraising efforts during the holiday season. Your generosity and hard work enable us to continue providing compassionate community care where it is needed most.
This year, so many individuals illuminated the spirit of the season by giving their time, talents, and resources to a cause close to all our hearts. Here are a few highlights:
🎄 November 23: Marché Beau Holiday Market
With the sale of raffle tickets, Santa’s photo booth, Duke and Devine’s beverage sale, and individual donations, we raised over $3,000! The festive atmosphere was brought to life by countless volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Thank you for bringing so much joy and community spirit to the day!
🍪 December 16: Seniors’ Activity Program Bake Sale
Led by the amazing Ashley-Ann and her team, this event raised over $1,300! Generous contributions of baked treats and holiday ornaments filled our tables, while a photography gallery showcased breathtaking work by Mr. Robertson, one of our talented members and an acclaimed photographer. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this heartfelt initiative!
🏒 December 22: Lakeshore Leopards Holiday Fundraiser
We were honored to receive a cheque for $1,251 from the Lakeshore Leopards hockey team, thanks to their inspiring holiday fundraiser led by Coach Brian Miller. Seeing the youth of our community rally for our cause fills us with hope and gratitude. What an incredible display of teamwork and generosity!
To all who participated, donated, or volunteered: thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many. Together, we are spreading comfort, hope, and compassion throughout our community.
